How To: Undo a Refund
- Open a Customer screen .
- Find and load the Customer.
- Open the
[ Statement ]
tab. - Focus on the refund in the Statement Transactions grid.
Note: The Transactions grid is on the left hand side of the Statement screen. - Right-click and select
[Refund -> Undo Refund]
. - Click on Yes in the warning popup.
- In the 'Please select date' popup select the date.
- Click on OK.
- Enter the Manual Auth Code in the popup.
- Click on OK.
This creates a balancing transaction which rearranges the refund to be allocated to it, leaving the payment/credit that the refund has been associated with available.
Note: the Source # and Other Ref columns in the Statement transactions grid will display Undo Refund.
