How To: Undo a Refund

  1. Open a Customer screen (show me how).
  2. Find and load the Customer.
  3. Open the [ Statement ] tab.
  4. Focus on the refund in the Statement Transactions grid.
    Note: The Transactions grid is on the left hand side of the Statement screen.
  5. Right-click and select [Refund -> Undo Refund].
  6. Click on Yes in the warning popup.
  7. In the 'Please select date' popup select the date.
  8. Click on OK.
  9. Enter the Manual Auth Code in the popup.
  10. Click on OK.

This creates a balancing transaction which rearranges the refund to be allocated to it, leaving the payment/credit that the refund has been associated with available.

Note: the Source # and Other Ref columns in the Statement transactions grid will display Undo Refund.
