System Data Comm Log Types
Comm Log Types
The Comm Log Types screen contains a list of contact types that can be used in the Comm. Log to record the type of communication, for example Lead, Confirmation Call, Email, Order etc, see How To: Setup CRM Contact Types. It is available in the following areas:
- Contact Type column (F4 lookup) in the
[ Customer / Supplier | Detail | CRM | Communication Log ]
screen. - Contact Type column (F4 lookup) in the
[ CRM Manager | Comm Log (Leads) ]
screen. - CRM Type drop-down on the Comm Log Entry dialog when adding an entry in the
[ Sales Orders | Detail | CRM | Comm Log ]
grid, see Add a Sales Order Related Entry to the Customer's Communication Log. - CRM Type drop-down on the Comm Log Entry dialog when adding an entry in the
[ Accounts | Debt Management | Debtors / Creditors ]
screen when a record is focused on. - Comm Log Type drop-down on the Communication Log Entry dialog when adding an entry in the
[ Accounts | Debt Management | Debtors / Creditors ]
screen when a record is green-selected. - CRM Type drop-down on the Comm Log Entry dialog when adding an entry in the
[ List Manager | List ]
screen. - CRM Type drop-down on the Comm Log Entry dialog when adding an entry from any screen in the system by pressing Ctrl+ Shift+C.
Comm Log Types Grid
- CRM Contact Type: the description of the Communication Log Type.
- Display Order: allows the user to define the order in which the list of Comm Log Types is displayed in the CRM Type dropdown in the Comm Log Entry or Communication Log Entry dialogs.
Comm Log Types Context Menu
- Apply Value Range: allows the user to specify a value that is to be applied to all of the currently selected rows/items for the current column.
- Clear Selection: deselects the currently selected line(s).
