How To: Change the Address on a Sales Order

The Invoice and Delivery addresses can be changed on a Sales Order. If there is just one address then the invoice address can't be changed until a new delivery address has been created using the new item BtnNewItemX.jpg or postcode lookup BtnPostcodeLookup.jpg(if enabled) icons.

  1. Open a Sales Order screen (show me how).
  2. Either create a new sales order or locate an existing sales order.
    Note: to edit an existing sales order, it must be in an editable stage of the [ Sales Invoice Manager ].
  3. Open [ Sales Order | Detail | Addresses ] tab.
  4. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  5. Locate the required delivery or invoice address in the Delivery Address Choices grid to the right.
  6. Drag the address line from the Delivery Address Choices grid and drop over the existing invoice or delivery address displayed on the left.
  7. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button    to save.
