How To: Update the Title and Description for Listed Items when using Channels 1.0

Channel Listings is an Advanced User feature.

Once items have been listed if the title and description have been changed in the following areas then they can be updated on eBay:

• The stock short description in [ Stock | Detail | Properties ] tab.
• The stock long description in the [ Stock | Detail | Telesales / Internet | Primary ] tab.
• Against the whole eBay Channel in the Website/Stock Description fields in the Web Categories Categories screen.
• Against the specified eBay Category in the Category/Stock Description fields in the Web Categories Categories screen.
  
  

To update the descriptions on eBay:

1. Open a Web Configuration screen (show me how).
2. Open the [ Channel Listings | Listings ] screen.
3. Select the listing you wish to update.
4. Right click and from the context menu select Update Selected.
5. Tick the Update Listing Title and Description checkbox.
6. Click on OK.
   
   

Note: this method is also used to update the HTML template if it has been changed.
