How To: Force a User to change their password, at the next login

You can require a user to change their password the next time they sign in. This is useful when resetting a password, enforcing security policies, or ensuring that users update temporary passwords.
Force a Password Change at Next Login
- Open the System Data screen (show me how).
- Double-click [ Others | Users ].
- Locate the required user, right-click their record and select Edit User Permissions.
- Tick the User must change password at next login checkbox in the top-left corner of the window.
- Click OK to save the change.
The next time the user logs in to Khaos Control, they will be prompted to create a new password before they can continue.
Additional Information
- This setting is commonly used after a password reset or when issuing temporary passwords.
- Users will only be prompted to change their password when they next log in to Khaos Control.
- The currently logged-in user can edit their own details, except for their username, provided they have permission to edit users.
- If the user does not have permission to edit users, they will not be able to update their own account settings.
