How To: Setup Stock Location Types


Warehouse Location Control is not enabled by default.
Training must be completed before using the warehouse functionality.

Note: there will be additional costs involved if this option is enabled.


  1. Open a System Data screen (show me how).
  2. Double-click on 'Stock/Stock Location Types' to open.
  3. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  4. Press F3 or click the NEW ITEM button has an icon that shows two sheets of paper (identified by having the top right corner folded down), arranged diagonally on the icon from top left to bottom right to add a new item.
  5. Enter the stock location's description.
  6. Press F4 to add the System Picking Priority as shown in the screenshot below:
    1. Picking (Primary)
    2. Picking (Secondary)
    3. Picking (Bulk)
    4. Put away (Bulk)
    5. No auto-pick

  7. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save the locations.
  8. Ctrl+A to close all open screens.
