Non-Working Days
Introduction
The Non-Working Days (NWD) table allows you to record dates when your business is closed, such as Bank Holidays and other company-wide closure days.
When a sales order is created, Khaos Control uses the Non-Working Days table when calculating delivery dates, helping to ensure deliveries are scheduled on valid working days.
Important Notes
- If Invoice Priorities are in use, the DelDate Adj calculation does not take non-working days into account.
- If a sales order is saved with a delivery date that falls on a non-working day, Khaos Control will display a warning message.
Non-Working Days Grid
The Non-Working Days grid contains the following fields:
Date
Enter the date of the non-working day.
You can use the calendar to select the required date, for example 03/04/2016.
Free Day Description
Enter a description for the non-working day.
Examples include:
- Boxing Day
- New Year's Day
- Company Shutdown
- Summer Bank Holiday
Using clear descriptions makes it easier to identify non-working dates when reviewing the table.
Non-Working Days Context Menu
The Context Menu provides the following options:
Apply Value Range
Use Apply Value Range to apply the same value to all currently selected rows within the active column.
Clear Selection
Removes the selection from the currently highlighted row or rows.
