Custom Stock Options
Users can define their own custom stock options in addition to the default stock options on the [ Stock | Detail | Options ] screen. These options will appear as flags so tend to be Yes / No options. These options can then be used to record additional information about the stock items. Custom stock options can be filtered in the same way as default stock options in the [ Stock | List ] screen.
Note:
1) This screen is limited in the number of options available and therefore rows can't be added or removed.
2) More advanced options such as Author in the case of a book can be set up using Stock UDAs.
Custom Stock Options Grid
- Description: the name of the custom stock option, for example production item etc.
- Visible: whether the option will be visible in the
[ Stock | Detail | Options ]screen.
Custom Stock Options Context Menu
- Apply Value Range: allows the user to specify a value that is to be applied to all of the currently selected rows/items for the current column.
- Clear Selection: deselects the currently selected line(s).
